The Gate of Tears Is Never Closed

Extreme gratitude for all the prayers and healing for dear sweet Trixibelle. We did not have to put her to sleep today!! The vet is cautiously optimistic after the ultrasound and has (mostly) ruled out a tumor or cancer although a biopsy will confirm this. She seems to have Pancreatitis which can cause the liver to stop working but there appears to be a treatment regimen. She also mysteriously perked up this afternoon - although not having eaten for almost 3 days - started running around and wagging her tail and drinking water again, thankfully. If we can get her through the next few days the vet thinks there is a good chance she will survive. She is a fighter!

Trixi says thank you for the prayer and light! Keep it coming!

  1. If she still isn't eating, try smearing some peanut butter on her snout. She will naturally try to get it off by licking it.

This was advice given to us by our vet when our dog wouldn't eat after surgery.

  2. This is good news... thanks. Will continue my work and prayers for this wonderful being :)

  3. @Donald: thanks that sounds like a great idea. unfortunately she is not allowed a single gram of fat. The enzymes that break down fats are no longer in her pancreas and liver. This is one of the reasons she is so sick. We are feeding her special fat free food and chicken breast.

Also, wow, you read my blog! :-)

@peregrin: thank you for your healing work peregrin - it's helping! Please keep sending. She is quite weak today but she is fighting if we can just get her through this she will fully recover, I know it.

  4. I am so happy to hear this! :) Will continue to send healing light Rambling Rose's way. (hug)

  5. Thank you so much Rose, and John!
